Fable account permissions

There are three account types in Fable Engage:

Admins who can manage a company account and users
Users who can submit requests
Observers who can view requests

There are two account types in Fable Upskill:

Admins who can access the learning dashboard
Learners who can take courses and earn badges

This article outlines the actions that each of these roles can perform within the platform.

Accessing Engage requests

These actions can be performed by all account types (admins, users and observers).

View requests inside projects you have access to
Create video clips
Share videos
Download videos
Export Compatibility Test results
Use Fable Insight Annotations
View activities in projects you have access to

Managing Engage requests

These actions can be performed by admins and users, except users cannot configure widgets on the Company Dashboard. Observers cannot perform these actions.

Submit a request for projects you have access to
Create a project
Create a Project Analytics report
Create recurring requests
Configure widgets on My Dashboard
Configure widgets on Company Dashboard (Admins only)

Managing Engage account

Admins can perform all of these actions. Users can only create environments, custom audiences and set up the Figma integration. Observers cannot perform these actions.

View request results in all projects
View all project activities
Invite users and observers
Upgrade observer to user
Archive users
Create digital properties
Export company data
Set an Accessible Usability Scale (AUS) target

Accessing Upskill learning

Admins and learners can perform all these actions, except learners cannot add new learners or view the learning dashboard.
