Apps

Fable Engage supports testing both mobile and desktop applications. You can:

Test features to ensure that key functionalities work as intended.
Evaluate app performance on specific devices and operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).

Fable Engage also supports testing applications pre-production:

Test pre-production apps through an app testing platform like TestFlight or App Center.

Websites and web apps

Websites and web applications are fully testable on Fable Engage. You can:

Ensure browser and assistive technology compatibility by testing across popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
Verify the accessibility of interactions, such as navigation menus, forms, and multimedia content.

Software

Fable Engage supports testing desktop and web-based software, including:

Collaboration tools
AI writing tools
Project management tools
Organizational tools

PDFs

Portable Document Formats (PDFs) are the only type of document that Fable Engage supports testing.

Best practices for testing PDFs:

PDFs should be tested through a User Interview Request, as they require moderation.
Adobe Acrobat PDFs loaded in a browser can sometimes have compatibility issues that won’t be present when using Acrobat.

Prototypes

You can test prototypes on Fable Engage with a Prototype Review Request. Examples of prototypes include:
